On Monday 21st March Scott performed a demonstration of his painting technique to an audience of approximately 35 members of 'Paisley Artists'.
The painting shown here is about half way completed and will be worked on again soon.
A video of the evening was recorded and will feature in Scott's next youtube video entry.
Scott will be showing 6 paintings at the Atholl Gallery, Dunkeld. The exhibition will run from 16 April - 16 May 2011 and will also feature work from Jenny hunter, Tim Cockburn, Madeleine Hand, Malcolm Cheape and Georgina McMaster
Scott will be showing at the soon to be opened 'Turnberry Gallery'. The new gallery will be occupying the old post office a few hundred yards South of the golf course
Scott will be showing 6 paintings at 'Contemporary Six' Gallery in Manchester. The gallery opened in Royal Exchange Arcade at the beginning of the year and is an ideal spot for a rare glimpe of Scott's work south of the border
Showing throughout October for the 11th time at Ian Kenny Gallery, Hamilton, Scott Naismith will show a selection of work inspired by some recent trips to Arran, Barra, Uist, Harris, Skye, and Tiree.
Also featuring at the preview night will be videos from Scotts youtube channel which show some of the paintings being created in the studio.
